Sup you! You read my last post and hopefully made a conscious decision to do better or You didn’t read my last post but you’re here now, welcome!
I want to finish off FIGHTING BURNOUT with a couple of sayings that have made me feel better when I feel overwhelmed. Words are incredibly important to provide comfort, hope and encouragement. Sometimes, a simple phrase or sentence can make all the difference and the sad reality is most times we are too caught up in our lives to take time to read a motivational quote or two. I’d love to bridge that gap for you, dear reader.
So, here are some supportive words for you;
If you don’t succeed try, try again. Don’t give up on your dreams. Keep going.
Do not lose heart. You may stumble but you can still make it to the top if you don’t quit – Tom Hopkins
Do not give up, the beginning is always the hardest – H. Jackson Brown
Always remember within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world – Harriet Tubman
Never give up on what you really want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than the one with all the facts – H. Jackson Brown
I can be changed by what happens to me, but I refuse to be reduced by it – Nelson Mandela (This is my favorite quote)
Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths – Arnold H. Glasgow
Fall seven times, stand up eight – Japanese proverb
You have a dream, don’t just sit there. Gather courage to believe that you can succeed and leave no stone unturned to make it a reality – Roopleen
It doesn’t matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop – Confucius
A/N: While I planned to have little original follow-up writeups to accompany each quote, I spontaneously decided not to while writing this post in order to give you the chance to fashion the quotes into how they speak to you most as an individual.
The beginning of the process of recovering from burnout can be highly difficult but with the right support as I iterated in my previous post and cool sayings just as these, you can be sure you’ll make it through and come out stronger on the other side.
THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING BURNOUT WITH JOJO!
